Stages of the process
1. Scanning the Part to be Reproduced to replicate an existing item without drawings:
We use high-precision 3D scanners to capture every detail of the original piece.
This allows us to create an accurate digital model of the component to be reproduced.
2. Creating the Drawing to replicate an existing item without drawings:
The data acquired from the scan is processed to create a detailed technical drawing.
We use state-of-the-art CAD software to optimize the design and ensure maximum accuracy.
3. 3D Printing and Production of Sand Molds/Shells/Core for Foundries:
This system allows you to create sand molds and cores directly from 3D CAD files, eliminating the need for physical models and milling, thus saving time and costs.
4. Mold Assembly:
After printing, the shell and core are assembled to create the complete mold.
This operation is performed with the utmost care to ensure the correct fit between the parts and the solidity of the mold.
5. Casting the Molten Metal:
Once the mold is prepared, the molten metal, be it bronze or brass, is poured into it.
Thanks to our experience and the precision of our process, we are able to guarantee a uniform and defect-free casting.
6. Finishing, Testing, and Shipping:
After the metal has solidified, the part is removed from the mold and subjected to finishing operations to remove any surface imperfections and achieve the desired level of quality.
Some of the advantages of our Rapid Prototyping service
Speed and Efficiency: Significant reduction in production times thanks to the integration of 3D scanning and printing technologies.
High Precision: Faithful reproduction of the details of the original part.
Versatility: Ability to work with complex geometries and intricate details.
Savings: Our process eliminates the need to build a traditional model for forming individual parts.
This saves significant time and money, particularly when producing a pre-production run or a single spare part.
Investing in expensive physical models is no longer necessary, thus reducing overall production costs.
Ideal solution for small production runs, unique and/or outdated parts: Our service is ideal for those who need to produce small production runs, unique and/or outdated spare parts, especially when technical drawings and/or original models are not available for reproduction.
Thanks to 3D scanning, we can precisely replicate antique or discontinued parts, offering an efficient and accurate solution for the restoration and maintenance of machinery and historic objects.
